SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is alarmed regarding the high range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out more info into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The service position created for intervention encounters a significant inflow of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it difficult to the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to help the servicing of all consumers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
